All non-emergency city offices will be closed on Monday, September 1 to observe the Labor Day Holiday. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday weekend. We will re-open on Tuesday, September 2 for regular business hours.
Refuse/Recycling Collection To Be Delayed Due to Observance of Labor Day
- Due to observance of Labor Day, all garbage, recycling, and yard waste collections during the week of August 31 will be delayed by one day.
Electrical Aggregation - Four Points for Elgin Residents to Know
- Elgin voters approved municipal electric aggregation in a 2012 referendum. The upcoming electric aggregation contract with Constellation is a continuation of the referendum.
